SUMMARY:U!Innovate Autumn School 2026: Sustainable Heritage Futures – Post-Industrial Cities and Living Landscapes
DESCRIPTION:An international challenge-based autumn school on sustainable heritage\, innovation and entrepreneurship in post-industrial regions. \nThis four-day event brings together students and staff from U!Innovate partner universities to explore how cultural heritage\, innovation and sustainability can be harmonized in post-industrial regions. Working in interdisciplinary teams\, participants will analyze industrial heritage and sustainability challenges\, engage with local stakeholders\, and develop entrepreneurial solutions. The programme culminates in the creation and presentation of a prototype\, which participants pitch to an expert panel and regional partners. \nMain task \nDesign a next-generation heritage experience for the Moravian-Silesian Region. \nWhat students and staff will learn and deliver? \n\nANALYZE cultural heritage challenges through the lenses of circularity\, climate neutrality and community resilience.\nCO-CREATE innovative solutions in interdisciplinary and international teams.\nDEVELOP entrepreneurial and innovation competencies using challenge-based learning.\nENGAGE with local stakeholders and apply systems thinking to real-world challenges.\nCOMMUNICATE and pitch solutions to experts and regional partners.\n\nTrainer \n\nDr. Hana Štverková | hana.stverkova@vsb.cz\,\nregional experts\n\nAdmission procedure contact: \n\nIng.
