SUMMARY:Call for Participation: UPL - ISCAL International Days 2027
DESCRIPTION:The Lisbon Accounting and Business School of the Polytechnic University of Lisbon invites researchers and teachers to the upcoming ‘UPL – ISCAL International Days 2027‘. \nDates: 13 to 16 April\, 2027. \nFormat: The event will consist of a mix of round tables\, discussion groups\, and lectures to be held by the participants in their respective fields within Social Sciences: law\, management\, accountancy\, business administration\, finance\, among others. \nCall for papers: We intend to be a platform where scholars from different countries and different fields connected to Social Sciences share their teaching and research interests\, and network. SUMMARY:HOGENT Week Without Borders 2027
DESCRIPTION:During this week\, students are encouraged to step outside the boundaries of their own study programme and engage with new perspectives. Through creative\, curriculum-based activities\, they collaborate with other study programmes\, research centres\, professional organisations\, or international partner institutions to explore and address societal challenges together. We warmly welcome you to contribute to an activity \nFrom March 24-26\, all international partners are also invited to take part in the international partner programme: a varied programme offering opportunities to discover HOGENT\, exchange ideas and connect with colleagues and partners from around the world. \nTwo ways to participate (combination is possible) \n\nContribute to an activity\n\nAre you a lecturer or researcher interested in contributing to an activity\, for example a guest lecture or workshop? We warmly invite you to submit your proposal through our registration form until the end of October. We will explore whether we can connect you with a suitable study programme that can host your activity and develop it together with you. Already in touch with a HOGENT colleague and/or agreed on an activity together? Then there is no need to complete the form. Need inspiration? Have a look at the activities of last years edition. \n\nJoin our international partner programme\n\nThe international partner programme\, coordinated by the International Office\, is open to all international partners\, whether you are contributing to an activity during Week Without Borders or not. And those who have joined us before will know that our partners are warmly invited to a memorable dinner in the heart of Ghent on Thursday evening! \nWe are currently putting together the partner programme and are doing our utmost to offer a varied selection with something for everyone.
