DESCRIPTION:The U!REKA Research Days 2025 will bring together 100+ researchers from the 11 partners in the U!REKA European University Alliance\, representing a wide range of research domains and disciplines\, and across U!REKA’s three Centres of Expertise: Climate Neutral and Resilient Cities\, Transition to Circular Society\, and Innovative Governance and Citizen Engagement.  \nWhy join?  \n\nNetworking: For those researchers new to U!REKA\, this is an opportunity to meet your colleagues and identify opportunities for cooperation in research. \nScientific exchange: For those researchers already active in U!REKA\, an opportunity for exchange on ongoing and possible new research projects. \n\nThe programme includes networking\, workshops\, and seminars on research topics linked to our Centres of Expertise. Also\, we will organise trainings on research methods and tools\, and host several social activities to get to know your fellow researchers in person as well.  \nIf you are interested in participating\, please contact Mark van Wees m.t.van.wees@hva.nl or the U!REKA research coordinator at your own institute.

SUMMARY:Urban Circular Hack(athon) 2025
DESCRIPTION:How can we reduce waste in the sense of a sustainable circular economy? And how can we create sustainable systems in which materials can be reused and resources recycled? \nFrankfurt University of Applied Sciences (Frankfurt UAS) invites students and researchers of all U!REKA partner universities as well as interested stakeholders from local industries\, cities and the general society to the creative and society-oriented UrbanCircularHack(athon). Participants will jointly develop innovative approaches and solutions to real-world challenges and thus actively participate in shaping a more sustainable future. \nThe UrbanCircularHack(athon) takes place at Frankfurt UAS on November 24 to 25\, 2025. \nThe event will be held in English. \nParticipation is free of charge. \nRegistration: Save your spot!
