DESCRIPTION:Content: \nCOIL and BIP Design is a 3 week course for teachers and their international partners to design their online collaboration project. \nTraining dates: 28 May\, 4 June\, 11 June\, 10-12h \nTrainer: Ava HAUG (Amsterdam UAS) \nThe following topics are facilitated: \n\nInternationalising your learning outcomes for online collaboration\nIcebreakers and the importance of online social presence – Collaborative activities\nReflection of the intercultural learning process\nAssessment and evaluation of student learning\nChoosing the educational technology to support your design\nGetting students ready for COIL\nFacilitating a COIL as international colleagues\nBIP: designing complementary online and on-site activities\n\nLearning outcomes: \nUpon completion of the workshop\, the participants will: \n\nbe able to internationalise their learning outcomes and develop aligned assessment for student learning\nbe able to develop and facilitate online\, international collaborative activities and choose the appropriate technology\nbe able to prepare their students for the experience and address motivation for intercultural collaboration\nhave a completed COIL Project Plan that describes their project and is ready for implementation\n(specific to BIP) have decided how the online engagement and the on-site activities complement each other and support the project learning objectives\n\nREGISTER HERE

SUMMARY:Erasmus+ BIP for staff: Libraries for a Sustainable Future
DESCRIPTION:Join the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Library for a Sustainable Future” organized by Haaga-Helia UAS in collaboration with Metropolia UAS and Laurea UAS. \nThe immersive professional week takes you to Helsinki to explore the future of libraries and information services together with colleagues from three different European University Alliances – Ulysseus\, U!REKA and PIONEER. \nIn this exciting programme\, we explore the current topics and future challenges by diving into the themes of artificial intelligence\, open science\, and sustainability. Participants will visit four different campuses and several iconic libraries in Helsinki. \nBIP: Libraries for a Sustainable Future \nPhysical part in Helsinki: 1-5 June 2026 \nVirtual part: 5 May 2026 at 9-11 CET \nWebsite \nGo to BIP website and learn more about the programme. \nRegistration \nRegistration until 15 February 2026.
