SUMMARY:Train-the-trainer: Internationalisation of the curriculum course
DESCRIPTION:This is a 6-session training course : 5/03\, 12/03\, 19/03\, 26/03\, 2/04 and 9/04/2025 (15 hours in total) + 1 training during U!REKA connects in Helsinki \nContent: \nTrain-the-Trainer Internationalisation of the Curriculum (IoC) is a course to prepare trainers to facilitate the IoC for lecturers course. The TTT will take place in the spring semester 2025\, and the IoC course will be facilitated in the fall of 2025. The aim of the TTT is to empower trainers to engage with the content\, become experts in this topic and teach lecturers to internationalise their curriculum. We’re hoping to create a team of trainers representing the various U!reka perspectives. \nThe course consists of the 6 topics of the (existing) IoC course: \n\nInternationalisation on programme level\nInternationalisation on course level (learning outcomes)\nIntercultural awareness of the lecturer (ICC for lecturers)\nInternationalisation in the classroom (pedagogy)\nOnline international collaboration (COIL/virtual exchange)\nAssessment of internationalisation\n\nLearning outcomes: upon completion of the course\, the participants will: – be experts in the topic of curriculum internationalisation – be able to facilitate (one of) the course modules – be ambassadors for IoC in their respective institutions \nMax. 25 participants \nTrainer Eva Haug (Amsterdam UAS) \nRegister here
