SUMMARY:Call for participation: International Week@Frankfurt UAS | Faculty of Social work & health
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 33rd International Week! \nLecturers and practitioners in social work and healthcare from partner institutions of Frankfurt UAS are warmly invited to take part in the 33rd International Week (IW) from May 18-22\, 2026 in Frankfurt. \nThe IWs aim to incorporate international perspectives into teaching at Frankfurt UAS and provide an opportunity to our guests to make international connections\, learn more about the university\, discover the city of Frankfurt and explore new ways to cooperate! \nAbout the event \nDuring this week\, guest lectures are scheduled into regular courses\, which are open to all participants. A Blended Intensive Program (BIP) on “Urban Health and Sustainability” will also be running during this week\, into which guests from healthcare will be incorporated. Additional activities are offered throughout the week to connect with one another and explore Frankfurt. \nGuests are asked to contribute lectures/ presentations (approx.1 hour\, + 30 min. for discussion) from their area of expertise (broadly related to the overall theme)\, which will be integrated into teaching or the BIP during the week. The primary working language is English\, though we will strive to find a solution in the case of a language barrier. \nFormat & Funding \nThe event will be held in person\, but it is also possible to contribute online if travel to Frankfurt is not possible. Participants from European universities are asked to apply for Erasmus+ funding at their home institutions\, as travel costs are not covered by the Frankfurt UAS. Participation is free of charge. \nMore information \nRegistration \nTo register\, please contact Maya Robinson at international@fb4.fra-uas.de by March 1\, 2026. \nPlease let us know if you have any questions or would like more information.
