Content: Teaching in the Intercultural Classroom is an interactive workshop about recognizing and capitalizing on diversity in the classroom or in international collaboration. The workshop will provide insights into the methods, strategies and tools to foster cultural capital in the (online) classroom. The insights of this workshop can also benefit COIL and BIP project design.
Learning outcomes:
Upon completion of the workshop, the participants will:
- recognize diversity as a resource in the classroom dynamics
- be able to capitalize on diversity in their pedagogy
- be able to create safe and inclusive learning environments
- apply strategies and tools to facilitate intercultural diversity in the classroom
