U!REKA Connects 2026 Lisbon: building the future by working together.

U!REKA Connects 2026 took place in Lisbon from 23 to 25 June. This flagship moment brought together 348 colleagues and students from all U!REKA partner institutions to reinforce existing collaborations, spark new joint initiatives, and exchange expertise through 21 interactive workshops, 69 presentations 28 working group meetings, showcasing posters and other collaborative formats.

The programme was built on four central themes:

  • Collaborative and challenge-based methodologies for a sustainable and digital future
  • Co-creating climate-neutral and smart cities
  •  Inclusive universities
  • U!REKA community voices: experiences, projects and new ideas

     The overall goal is to connect and collaborate to further develop international and future proof education and research within U!REKA European University. The gathering of people who are motivated to contribute to this goal, always leads to good vibes and creativity. Connects 2026 in Lisbon was not an exception.
