U!Innovate Summer School & Hackathon at HOGENT
International summer school and hackathon on innovation challenges in Med Tech and Textiles
The U!Innovate Summer School & Hackathon offers students an intensive international innovation experience combining entrepreneurship, team-based problem solving, and pitching skills.
Following a keynote on entrepreneurship education and AI by Prof. Xiaozhou Xu, participants prepare for an overnight international hackathon in collaboration with Canadian University Dubai. Working on real-world challenges in the fields of Med Tech and Textiles, interdisciplinary teams develop innovative solutions, receive expert input, and present their ideas to a jury. The programme concludes with final pitches, reflection sessions, and an awards ceremony recognizing the most promising projects.
