The Triple Layered Business Model Canvas (3LC-model)

This 3LC model expands the well-known Business Model Canvas with two additional layers: an ecological and a social layer. The 3LC model, based on the work of Joyce, Paquin and Pigneur, offers teachers the opportunity to map not only the economic, but also the ecological and social aspects of companies. The ecological and social layers together form the sustainability layers of the model. This way, your students will learn how companies can contribute to a more sustainable future.
