Course overview

The course equips students professionally and practically with knowledge in the field of human resource management to increase employee engagement in the organization in a competitive environment. Students are introduced to the basic concepts related to the field, the historical development of human resource management and the main activities of human resource management such as planning, recruiting, selecting, training and rewarding employees. The main emphasis is on performance management, employee motivation and the ethics of human resource management.

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • explain the steps of the employee training and development cycle.

  • describe the importance and nature of teams and teamwork.
  • clarify the content and meaning of the organization culture.
  • define the features and tools of international human resources management.
  • clarify the meaning and types of working relationships.
