Course overview
This e-learning course is a case study of a realistic child protection scenario. It provides specialised knowledge and practical skills on the topic of child protection. You will analyse the complex dynamics of child welfare risks from an interdisciplinary perspective, receiving practical guidance on how professionals in education, medicine, law and psychology can identify and address situations that endanger a child’s well-being.

In this online course, you will gain knowledge about child protection. Using a case study, various specialist agencies will be asked about their tasks as actors in child protection. Topics such as abuse, neglect and sexualized violence against children will be discussed.
Course content
In the ‘Interdisciplinary Frankfurt Model: Child Protection in Teaching’, experienced professionals provide insights into the following: the experiences and needs of affected children; perspectives of their discipline, the success factors of multi-professional cooperation between all professionals responsible for the case.
The experience of these pioneers is a valuable contribution to the development of the young scientific field of interdisciplinary child protection.
