Artificial intelligence in higher education

Course overview

This is a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), providing an open-access training on artificial intelligence in higher education.

The self-paced course was designed for lecturers and educators who wish to better understand the impact of AI on education and explore how AI tools can be integrated critically, ethically, and effectively into teaching and learning practices. The main goal of this MOOC is to provide lecturers far and wide a learning medium to get acquainted with the idea of artificial intelligence (AI) and its past, current, and forthcoming role in higher education.

The MOOC was developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership project AI-HED, which brings together four European higher education institutions: Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands); University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna (Austria); ESCS – School of Communication and Media Studies, Polytechnic University of Lisbon (Portugal) and University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics (Croatia).
